We are excited to welcome new families to Boondall State School.
Enrolling is a simple process. Please follow the steps below to help us prepare for your child's enrolment.
Step 1: Check your catchment area
Before submitting an enrolment application, please check the enrolment management plan (https://www.qgso.qld.gov.au/maps/edmap/to) confirm whether your address is within the Boondall State School catchment area.
Families residing outside the catchment area are required to complete an out of catchment expression of interest form instead of the enrolment forms below.
Step 2: Complete the enrolment forms
- Please complete the enrolment application form and all required documents listed on the parent checklist.
- A separate application is required for each child enrolling.
- Once your forms have been submitted, our office team will contact you to arrange an enrolment interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal.

Step 3: Provide supporting documents
Please provide the following documents with your application:
- Birth certificate for each child
- Current passport and visa, if your child was born overseas
- Most recent school report card, if applicable
Please note, enrolment applications cannot proceed until all required documents have been received.
Step 4: Attend an enrolment interview
At the enrolment interview, we will:
- Discuss your child's enrolment application, go through the enrolment agreement, answer any questions you may have
- Provide information about uniforms, booklists and school routines
Step 5: Read important school information
Before your child starts, please take the time to read our key school documents, including the Prep Handbook, Student Code of Conduct and Family Handbook.
