Our school

On 6 April 1925, 61 students enrolled at Boondall State School. The following day, another nine students enrolled. The name Boondall was taken from the creek which flowed across the school ground and into Cabbage Tree Creek.

Boondall State School is a Prep to Year 6 campus with over 650 students. The vision is to promote excellence and high equity by both raising the bar and narrowing the gap. Becoming clear about what students should know, and be able to do, at key points in their lives, is crucial to ending problems of low achievement. At Boondall State School our aim is to privide opportunities for success for all students.

Our outstanding school facilities include a Resource Centre, Digital Learning Centre, Music Block, heated 25 metre swimming pool, adventure playgrounds, outdoor fitness centre, tennis court, multipurpose court and magnificent oval.

The Federal Government’s Building the Education Revolution and National School Pride Programs are timely initiatives that have provided new and refurbished infrastructure to support curriculum requirements and student needs. Excellent school facilities help to create stimulating learning environments which improve student learning outcomes.
